How To Check N-Power Pre-Selection Status

N-Power, the federal government's empowerment program, said on Monday how applicants can verify their pre-selection status.

The information was contained in a statement on their official Twitter handle, N- @ npower_ng

"Good morning, you'll remember that we shared that 2017 candidates can check their pre-selection status today from 11:30 pm.

"Here's how to check your preselection status, please follow the instructions carefully", read the tweet with an image that contains the details.

N-Power last Thursday confirmed the date on which the candidates selected for physical review were announced.

Meanwhile, the presidency has confirmed that a total of 176,160 graduates have been deployed under the N-Power.

This is contained in a book entitled "Sustainable, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria's Peace and Prosperity": A "Mid-Term Report Card" written by the Presidential Media Team on the Buhari administration.

The book said that N-Power's program has reached 200,000 alumni beneficiaries from all 36 states including the FCT.

It noted that of the 25 840 selected candidates, 11 884 beneficiaries were disqualified or had incomplete records after physical examination, adding that the remaining 13 956 beneficiaries were absent from the physical examination.

It was said that 46 percent of the total of 200,000 selected beneficiaries were female, while 1 126 applicants with disabilities were also selected.

The government also announced that a centralized project management unit is currently being set up to monitor and evaluate the program nationwide.

"In addition, a MoU has been achieved with the National Orientation Agency to monitor and evaluate all 36 states, including the FCT," the book said.
