N-Power releases call centre lines

N-Power, the Nigerian Government Empowerment Scheme, released the call center's tracks.

Thus, applicants start checking their pre-election status.

N-Power explained how applicants can check their status.

On Twitter, as well as on the Facebook page on Monday night, N-Power has advised applicants to call if they have questions.

"Our call center is open and waiting for your calls. Call for Your Questions ", it's read.

The N-Power website was reportedly initially closed for more than 10 minutes (11:30 - 11:43), apparently due to massive traffic.

Nigerians introduced N-Teach, N-Agro, N-Health and N-Tax.

At the same time, the presidency stated that up to now, 176,160 graduates have been deployed within N-Power.

This is contained in a book titled: ‘Making Steady, Sustainable Progress for Nigeria’s Peace and Prosperity: A Mid-Term Report Card on the Buhari Administration’, co-authored by the Presidential Media Team.

The book notes that the N-Power program has reached 200,000 beneficiaries from all 36 countries, including the FCT.

It notes that 11,884 beneficiaries from 25,840 selected applicants have been discharged after a physical checkup or qualitative test, completing the remaining 13956 beneficiaries missing from a physical examination.

It explained that 46 percent of the 200,000 selected beneficiaries were women, and 1226 applicants were disabled in order to achieve gender equilibrium.

Government further disclosed that a centralized Project Management Unit was being set up to monitor and evaluate the programme across the country.

“In addition to this, a MoU has been reached with the National Orientation Agency to also carry out monitoring and evaluation in all 36 states including the FCT,” the book said.
