Philippe Coutinho spent €15m of his own money to facilitate his move to Barcelona according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Brazilian who sealed a record breaking move to Barcelona earlier today was so keen to get the move that he had to pay €15 million to help seal the deal.
Barca still had to pay €110m plus €40m but Coutinho will top up the fee with Liverpool demanding more.
The report also claims that Coutinho turned down better offers from both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
