Zlatan Ibrahimovic bagged a brace as he made a perfect LA Galaxy debut in his side’s 4-3 victory over city rivals Los Angeles.
The former Manchester United striker was named on the bench for the game at the StubHub Center, but came on in the 71st minute when his team were 3-1 down.
The Swede, who took a pay cut to join the West Coast club, made an immediate impact as Chris Pontius reduced the deficit for Galaxy.
Taking the game by the scruff of its neck, Ibrahimovic picked the ball up just six minutes after coming on and thundered the ball home.
But he wasn’t done there - no way was his debut for his new club going to go down as a draw, not with him on the pitch. And in the 91st minute the big Swede headed home his side’s winner to send the LA Galaxy crowd wild.
